SAO Student Login

The semester runs from 18 August to 8 November.

Note that the University has moved to a new Swinburne Identity Management System (SIMS), which means that all SAO students - new and re-enrolling students who did not not participate in semester 1 of 2008 - will need to set their SIMS password. To access Blackboard, which is the online software that hosts the SAO classes, you will need your SIMS password. For details, please visit the MySwinburne portal and click on "SIMS User Guide".

Note: if you are having trouble logging on to Blackboard or cannot access your unit from Blackboard, please email servicedesk@swin.edu.au (not Glen or Sarah!) and explain exactly what the problem is.

During Week 0 please visit your Unit's website and send a test and introductory posting to the "Test Messages" and "Introductions" newsgroups.
